Privacy Policy

StampSeeker is an independent stamp search aggregator. We help collectors find stamp listings and catalogue resources across multiple marketplaces.

We do not operate as a marketplace, retailer, or auction house. We do not sell stamps.

StampSeeker does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal details as part of normal use.

Search terms you enter are sent to our backend service (Supabase Edge Functions) to retrieve results from eBay. Search terms may also be included in analytics events if you have consented to analytics cookies.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use StampSeeker. This is a non-essential service.

Google Analytics only activates if you consent via the cookie notice on the site. By default, analytics storage is denied until you accept.

If you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) and collect anonymised usage data including search terms, pages visited, and general location (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymised.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the site footer and choosing Decline.

StampSeeker does not currently set first-party cookies for accounts, login sessions, or tracking.

Google Analytics may set non-essential analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) if you give consent.

Your cookie preference is stored in your browser's local storage so the consent banner does not show on every visit.

StampSeeker links to external sites including eBay, HipStamp, Delcampe, and specialist auction houses. Once you leave StampSeeker, the privacy policies of those third-party sites apply.

Some links to eBay are affiliate links via the eBay Partner Network (EPN). Clicking these links may allow eBay to set its own cookies. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.

If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under the UK GDPR / GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold.

As StampSeeker does not collect personal data directly, there is typically no personal data held for us to provide. For any data requests relating to Google Analytics, please refer to Google's data deletion tools.
